University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) has once again been named Most Innovative Higher Education Institution 2026 – Ontario in Corporate Vision’s Education and Training Awards.

For the second consecutive year, the recognition highlights UNF’s distinctive approach to higher education, combining experiential learning, digital thinking, industry engagement and career-focused education to prepare students for a rapidly changing workforce.

A Milestone Year for UNF

The recognition comes during a landmark year for UNF, which celebrated its first graduating class.

Dr. David Gray, President and Vice-Chancellor of UNF, says:

Thanks to the dedication of our expert staff and the hard work of our amazing students, UNF celebrated our very first graduating class, and we are just getting started. Looking to 2027, we are getting ready to launch three new sustainability-focused programs that will build the leaders who can address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.”

Looking Ahead to 2027

UNF is continuing its commitment to innovative, future-focused education with three new graduate programs planned for 2027:

• Master of Regenerative Sustainability
• Master of Sustainability Systems
• Master of Water and Food Security

Developed in direct response to urgent workforce and societal needs, the programs will focus on industry engagement, digital approaches and learning connected to the issues that matter most.
